• Register with an affiliate program and offer your banners to people (in other words, publishers) looking for banner ads to place on their web site.
• A website picks your banners and places them on their website.
• Someone clicks on the banner, is sent to your site and completes a purchase. Now a commission (normally in the 7-12% range) of the sales value is due to the publisher that displayed the ad.
